What can the X-Cloud platform do?
X-Cloud provides the live feed and play back on the end-user's client or mobile device, as well as security event video storage. Users will be able to watch the live feed and recorded footage on any web-connected device, such as a smartphone, laptop, or computer.
The system will become more scalable in the near future, incorporating IoT systems such as access control, intercoms, and more. It features open-source programming which will enable third-party APIs to take the system even further.

How can LTS customers install and launch X-Cloud for their end users?
Once compatible cameras with custom firmware have been acquired, they can be installed using web-connected devices. From there, the camera requires only a peer-to-peer (P2P) connection to the internet.
Customers subscribe monthly for a 30-day local storage package, unlimited cloud storage, and customizable terms beyond that.

What benefits does X-Cloud offer?
For end-users, X-Cloud is simple to use & maintain. They can simply monitor their live feed and play back video from their preferred internet-connected device as needed, whether on-site or remotely. If they have any issues or questions, they can contact their installer and/or security service provider. Users can also enjoy the benefit of having experienced professionals working for them instead of staffing their own security department.
For installers and integrators, installation is simplified. Setup requires internet connectivity. Most of the operations are automated. Server maintenance is completed by LTS & AWS. Installers can arrange prices and fees according to services performed and customize the contracts they set up with end-user customers.
Installers can expand their repertoire and add new channels of revenue to their existing portfolio. The licensing component of the service makes it possible for installers to upsell services from the most basic – like routine maintenance – to more complex – like configuring hardware, monitoring system health status, and more.

How does X-Cloud add value to SMBs?
X-Cloud provides first-rate video security monitoring 24 hours every day, using some of the most advanced surveillance technologies available. Stable and reliable AWS servers maximize uptime and keep recorded data secure for as long as the customer requires it. End-users can rest assured that X-Cloud is protecting their personnel, property, surroundings, and anything else in the field of view.

Where does the data go?
In terms of data storage, X-Cloud is a hybrid system – that means data is saved in the cloud while cameras in the LTS system save data using on-board MicroSD storage as well.

What about cybersecurity?
Data privacy is also maintained with the highest standards in end-to-end encryption and transmission safety protocols. VSaaS platforms are actually less vulnerable to cyberattacks because there are fewer exposed connections to the web, such as extra VPN clients or firewalls. Vulnerabilities in the software or firmware can be addressed remotely and more rapidly by the X-Cloud service provider, meaning less travel on the part of the installer and less involvement for the user.

Where can it be implemented?
The LTS VSaaS program can be implemented anywhere in the 48 contiguous United States, using AWS.

Why would end users want to use or switch to VSaaS?
There are many reasons security end-users will find it very advantageous to choose or switch to X-Cloud. Here are a few:
- Users can monitor their system remotely, just as if they were in the command center
- The system can quickly scale up or down as needed
- Equipment maintenance is vastly reduced
- Initial hardware purchases are often vastly reduced, along with costs for security personnel
- The VMS is centralized, no matter how big or small the system
- Updates are completed by professional, knowledgeable service providers
- LTS will add more modules in the future to expand X-Cloud's scope for video monitoring, alarms, and access control
