TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payments, Taxes, Fees, and Refunds
Customers agree to pay for all products purchased through LTS and be responsible for timely payment of any and all outstanding balance. LTS may charge customers for any product purchased as well as for any additional amount (including shipping & handling, taxes, late fees, interest, etc., as applicable) that may be accrued by or in connection with their Customer Account. All payment shall be in U.S. dollars. Payments shall be Cash on Delivery unless otherwise specified in the purchase receipt.
Checks that are unpaid due to insufficient funds, stopped payments, or other reasons shall be subject to a thirty-five dollar ($35.00) processing fee. Late payments shall result in a fifty dollar ($50.00) late fee in addition to interest charged at one and one-half percent (1.5%) per calendar month for which payment or partial payment remains due. Product prices may change at any time. LTS does not provide price protection or refunds in the event of a price reduction or promotional offering.
LTS offers a 30-day money back guarantee. No returns will be accepted without a Return Merchandise Authorization from LTS. Please coordinate returns by phone before returning any product. The RMA Reservation form can be found on this page.
Exclusions and Limitations in the Limited Warranty apply. Returned, non-defective products must be in new or excellent condition and must include all original packaging along with accessories, product literature and other paperwork. A 20% re-stocking fee will apply to returns with missing parts, visible wear and tear, signs of use, or other cosmetic damages. LTS reserves the right to refuse incomplete or damaged returns. Refunds may be issued as store credit or in the original form of payment. Shipping & handling costs are non-refundable. All sales are final after 30 days. No return for credit will be accepted after 30 days of purchase.

- No 30-day trial option.
- LTS does not accept returns for thermal temperature solution products. Returns for refund and returns for credit will not be applied, except for DOA products.
- Thermal Dead On Arrival (DOA) cases will be verified by the Thermal Support Group to approve a return or replacement.
- Replacements must be verified by the Thermal Support Group to be approved for an RMA application.
- Warranty for replacement is 3 years. Products are for indoor applications only.
Limited Hardware Warranty
LTS Associates Inc. ("LTS") warrants to the original purchaser, that any new LTS-branded hardware product ("Product") purchased directly from LTS will be free from defects in material and workmanship, when given normal, intended, and proper usage, for the applicable Standard Warranty Period set forth in the table above. All warranty periods begin on the date of Product purchased by the dealer, systems integrator, reseller etc.
For thermal temperature monitoring solution, return for credit (CRT) will not be applied.
Process: To obtain warranty service, Distributor must provide to LTS within the applicable warranty period (a) a valid form of bill of sale or receipt substantiating the fact and date of sale to Dealer, and (b) shipping documentation or records to substantiate the date of shipment to Dealer (or its designee). Distributor must promptly notify LTS of any known warranty claims and cooperate in any claim investigation. Distributor must initiate all warranty claims using LTS’s RMA application form.
Repair or Replacement: During the applicable warranty period, LTS will, in its sole discretion, either (a) repair the defective Product using new or refurbished parts, or (b) provide a replacement model if the returned Product has reached its end-of-life and is no longer available. LTS reserves the right to choose the replacement model, depending on available stock at the time of the RMA. This is LTS’s sole and exclusive liability under this Limited Hardware Warranty, and Distributor’s sole remedy. Repaired and replacement Products will be warranted under the terms of this Limited Hardware Warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period or ninety (90) days from the date of shipment to Dealer (or its designee), whichever is longer. Any replaced product or part becomes LTS’s property.
Exclusions: This Limited Hardware Warranty is contingent upon proper warehousing, shipment, and normal use of the Product, and will not apply if (a) the original Product identification markings (trademark, serial number, or model number) have been altered, defaced, or removed; (b) the Product has been modified or altered other than by LTS; (c) the Product was installed other than in strict accordance with the user manual instructions other than by LTS; (d) the Product was subject to faulty repair or maintenance other than by LTS; (e) the Product was used for a purpose for which it was not designed or intended; (f) the Product was subjected to misuse, abuse, or negligence; (g) the Product was subjected to operating conditions (e.g., atmospheric, moisture, or humidity) outside of acceptable conditions specified in the user manual; (h) the Product was subjected to electrical short circuits or transients, accident, fire, flood, or other acts of God; or (i) the Product was purchased by Distributor from a person or entity other than LTS. This Limited Hardware Warranty does not apply to demonstration Products and certain incentive- or specially-priced Products, all of which are sold or provided by LTS "AS IS" without any warranty. This Limited Hardware Warranty does not include, and LTS does not provide, any data recovery services. LTS STRONGLY RECOMMENDS THAT DEALERS OR END USERS BACK UP PRODUCT DATA PRIOR TO SUBMITTING ANY PRODUCT FOR WARRANTY SERVICE, AND CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COMMUNCATING THIS RECOMMENDATION TO END USERS.
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policy
When you contact LTS for warranty service, you will be asked to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before you can send the product back to LTS. Please prepare to furnish your name, company name, address, telephone number, invoice number (proof of purchase and date), item code, serial number and a detailed description of the apparent or alleged defect. Please download the RMA Form to assist with your warranty service request.
The purchaser is responsible for, at their own expense, delivering the product(s) to the LTS sales office from which they made the purchase.
DOA policy - Free Ground shipping will be arranged at LTS’ expense for all products determined by LTS Technical Support to be DOA within 15 business days after delivery by LTS. If a product is deemed defective more than 15 business days after LTS delivery, or deemed NOT to be DOA, LTS’ standard product warranty will apply. DOA return label covers only DOA items. No other item may be shipped back with the DOA label or the excess shipping charge plus a $25 handling fee will be posted to the customer’s account. LTS reserves the right to test returned DOA product. If the condition of the product is misrepresented by the customer, LTS may impose a $50 handling fee.
All replacement or repaired products for defective RMA items will be shipped to customer by ground service only. The cost of any expedited shipping option will be the customer’s responsibility. Advanced replacement or cross-shipping service can only be processed with a replacement order on payment term, at the original sale price, by ground shipping. Refund, including replacement ground shipping cost from LTS, will be issued upon receipt of the defective product within 15 calendar days after the issuance of an RMA number. If the defective product is not returned in time, the replacement order will be final as regular purchase and the defective product will, once again, be subjected to standard warranty procedure.
Note: Before you deliver your product for warranty service it is your responsibility to keep a separate backup copy of the system software, application software and data. Data recovery is not included in the warranty service and LTS is not responsible for data that may be lost or damaged during transit, repair or replacement. LTS will not install or reinstall any software that is not of the original system configuration.
Exclusions and Limitations
LTS is not liable for any damage to or loss of any programs, data, or other information stored later by the user on the DVR, NVR, CAMERA, or ACCESSORIES. Recovery and reinstallation such programs and user data are not covered under this Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by accident, negligence, mishandling, misuse, abuse, or products not supplied by LTS; (b) to damage caused by faulty installation, misconfiguration, misapplication, improper operation, alteration or modification without written permission of LTS, or service performed by anyone other than an LTS authorized personnel; (c) to damage caused by power surge, improper voltage supply, lightning strike, flood, earthquake, or damage that is attributable to nature disasters; (d) if the LTS serial number has been removed or defaced; (e) to misapplications in other environment and/or used with non LTS products.
IN NO CASE SHALL LTS, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF ANY LTS PRODUCT, OR ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST OF CONTRACTS, DOWNTIME, GOODWILL, DAMAGE TO OR REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, REPROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH LTS PRODUCTS, AND ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA STORED ON THE PRODUCTLTS SPECIFICALLY DOES NOT REPRESENT THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO REPAIR ANY PRODUCT UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR MAKE A PRODUCT EXCHANGE WITHOUT RISK TO OR LOSS OF PROGRAMS OR DATA. . LTS DOES NOT GUARANTEE, REPRESENT, OR WARRANT THAT THE USE OF ITS PRODUCT OR SERVICE WILL BE FREE FROM INTERRUPTION, ERROR, LOSS, CORRUPTION, ATTACK, VIRUSES, INTERFERENCE, HACKING, OR OTHER SECURITY INTRUSION, AND LTS DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY RELATING THERETO. LTS SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
IF LTS CANNOT, IN SOME STATES OR JURISDICTIONS, LAWFULLY CLAIM LIMITATION OF LIABLITY OR DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY AND LTS’ LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
